Bengaluru: A complaint has been submitted to the Directorate of Enforcement (ED), New Delhi, seeking a comprehensive probe into alleged illegal acquisition and transfer of land belonging to members of the Talwari Scheduled Tribe community in Venkatala village, Yelahanka taluk.

The complaint, dated October 7, 2026, was filed by Narasimha Murthy N., Muniraju B. and Saritha M. It alleges the involvement of an alleged network comprising the Embassy Group and associated entities, including MAC Charles Hub Projects Private Limited, along with individuals named in the complaint, including Norman D’Souza, R. Venkatesh and H.B. Jairaj.

The complainants have alleged illegal acquisition of ST land, fabrication and use of documents, manipulation of revenue records, unauthorised General Power of Attorney (GPA) documents, illegal land conversion and transfers, and financial transactions requiring scrutiny under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

The properties under dispute include Survey No. 56, measuring around 7 acres 22 guntas, and Survey No. 41, measuring about 2 acres 4 guntas, in Venkatala village. The complaint identifies the original grantees as members of the Talwari Scheduled Tribe community and alleges that their families subsequently lost control of the properties through a series of transactions requiring investigation.

The complaint raises questions over a disputed GPA, a Will and subsequent mutations, subdivisions and transfers of the properties. The ED has been asked to examine whether revenue and registration records were manipulated to facilitate the transactions.

A key allegation relates to Survey No. 41/1, measuring around 2 acres 2 guntas, which the complainants say was subsequently acquired by MAC Charles Hub Projects Private Limited. They have sought scrutiny of the consideration paid, source of funds and the financial links between the transactions and associated entities.
