Kolar: Karnataka MLC Dr. Ravi C.T. has urged graduate voters to prioritise the protection of the Constitution and democratic institutions, appealing to them to support NDA candidate K.M. Suresh in the South-East Graduates’ Constituency by casting their first-preference vote for him at serial number 2.
Addressing an NDA election campaign meeting in the Srinivaspura Assembly constituency, Ravi said his party followed the principle of “Nation First” and was committed to the empowerment of the poor and the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”. He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of transforming India into a prosperous nation by 2047.
Criticising the Congress government in Karnataka, Ravi alleged delays in implementing pre-election guarantee schemes. He raised concerns over payments for farmers’ produce, milk subsidies, pensions and the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, while also citing rising prices and increased charges.

On the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, he said verification was necessary to identify deceased voters, people who had relocated and individuals registered at multiple locations. He also questioned protests against the process and stressed the importance of respecting constitutional institutions such as the Election Commission.
Ravi urged graduates to vote with the country’s future and constitutional values in mind, rather than being influenced by caste-based appeals or monetary inducements.
BJP state co-in-charge Dr. Kasam Venkateswarlu, MP M. Mallesh Babu, former MP S. Muniswamy and former MLA G.K. Venkatashiva Reddy were among those present.
