Haridwar (Uttarakhand), March 25 (IANS) Yuva Mumba, Warriorz K.C., Jaipur Pink Cubs, and Sonipat Spartans registered victories against their respective opponents in the Yuva All-Stars Championship 2025 kabaddi tournament here on Tuesday.

Warriorz K.C. defeated Chandigarh Chargers 44-26 in the day’s first encounter. The Bengal-based club went into the half-time break with a 23-12 lead, courtesy of one Super Raid and one All Out. Courtesy of two Super Tackles, two Super Raids, and one All Out, Warriorz K.C. registered an 18-point victory. Young raider Punit Kumar was the star player with 11 points. Warriorz K.C. are second in Pool A with 64 points, while the Chargers are fourth in Pool B with 41 points.

In the second match of the day, Sonipat Spartans beat Kurukshetra Warriors 54-33 to move to the second position in Pool B with 49 points. The Spartans inflicted four All-Outs on the Warriors to register a 21-point win and secure a spot in the next round of the competition. Akshay Ahri was the pick of the Raiders with 15 points, while Rahil Ahri was the pick of the Defenders with 13 points.

Later in the day, Jaipur Pink Cubs thrashed Vasco Vipers 68-18 in a one-sided encounter to retain first place in the Pool A standings with 67 points from 13 encounters. The Pink Cubs inflicted six All-Outs on the Vipers and registered three Super Raids to bag a massive 50-point victory. The Jaipur-based club have registered the highest margin victory in the ongoing edition of the Yuva All-Stars Championship. K Dharanidharan was the star performer with 22 raid points, including 21 touchpoints and one bonus point.

Meanwhile, Yuva Mumba edged past Yuva Yoddhas 41-36 to qualify for the upcoming round of the Yuva All-Stars Championship 2025.

In the first half, Mumbai finished the first half with a score of 22-16, having registered two Super Tackles and an All Out. The Yoddhas inflicted an All-out on Yuva Mumba to level the scores 30-30. However, Yuva Mumba inflicted an All Out on their opponent to bag a five-point victory. Shivam Singh was the best player with 18 points (15 raid points and 3 touch points). Yuva Mumba and Yuva Yoddhas are third and first, respectively, in the Pool B points table with 45 and 58 points.
