Bengaluru, Aug 12: Close on the heels of the Yellow Line Metro’s launch, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has rolled out its new Metro feeder bus service to boost last-mile connectivity. Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy flagged off the service on August 12, 2025, and joined officials for the inaugural ride.
Reddy later travelled on the Yellow Line Metro, interacting with commuters and gathering feedback on the new route.
The event saw the presence of BMTC Managing Director Ramachandran R, Bengaluru South MLA M. Krishnappa, BMTC IT Director Shilpa M., BMTC Security and Vigilance Director Abdul Ahad, and representatives from the Electronic City Industries Association (ELCIA) and ELCITA.
