Chennai, Aug 30 (IANS) The Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (TNPDCL) will conduct consumer grievance meetings in four Chennai divisions on September 1, offering residents an opportunity to raise complaints relating to electricity supply and other services directly with senior officials.

The meetings will begin at 11 a.m. in the Mylapore, Ambattur, Tondiarpet and KK Nagar divisions.

Consumers from areas falling under these divisions may attend the respective sessions and submit their grievances for examination and necessary follow-up action.

In the Mylapore division, the meeting will take place at the office of the Executive Engineer from Operation and Maintenance, located at the 110 kV Valluvar Kottam substation on MGR Road, also known as Kodambakkam High Road.

The venue is situated near the Metro Water station.

The grievance meeting for the Ambattur division will be conducted at the office of the Executive Engineer from Operation and Maintenance, on Third Main Road.

The office is located inside the substation premises in the Ambattur Industrial Estate.

Consumers in the Tondiarpet division can present their complaints at the office of the Executive Engineer of Operation and Maintenance at Number 805 on Tiruvottiyur High Road.

The office is situated opposite the clock tower, making it accessible to residents from the surrounding neighbourhoods.

In KK Nagar, the meeting will be held at the divisional office of the Executive Engineer from Operation and Maintenance.

The office is on the second floor of the 110 kV KK Nagar substation premises on Anna Main Road.

The meetings are intended to provide electricity consumers with a direct forum to bring unresolved service-related issues to the attention of TNPDCL officials.

Complaints concerning power supply and other electricity services can be submitted during the sessions.

Superintending Engineers of TNPDCL’s Chennai Central, Chennai West, Chennai South and Chennai North distribution circles have appealed to consumers to make use of the grievance meetings.

They urged residents with pending complaints to attend the meeting in their respective division and provide details of the issues requiring attention.

This initiative is part of the corporation’s mechanism for addressing consumer complaints.

Officials said the grievances received at the meetings would be taken up for appropriate action.

Consumers have been advised to visit the venue corresponding to their distribution division at the scheduled time so that their complaints can be formally placed before the officials concerned.
