Mumbai, Aug 24 (IANS) Actor Pushkar Jog has opened up about his on-screen chemistry with co-star Taniya Chatterjee in the music video “Haye Re Haye.”

Speaking to IANS, he said their equation developed naturally and did not take long to come together. He credited the comfort and understanding between two good co-actors for making it easier to create a convincing on-screen connection. When asked him about building natural on-screen chemistry in a short period of time for a music video, the actor said, “Honestly, if you have a good co-actor, it doesn’t take much time. But if there is too much attitude, it can become difficult. You can watch our song, the chemistry looks amazing.”

Praising the entire team behind the music video, Jog added, “Abhijeet Dani has done a fantastic job with the direction, while the choreographer has created amazing choreography, which made the dance even more fun.”

Talking about the song, Pushkar added, “The song has such fun beats that when I heard it for the first time, I felt a different kind of connection with it. I immediately felt like dancing to it. Even while driving, I was literally dancing to the song.” Reflecting on his journey with dance, he mentioned, “My career began with dance, so I wanted to showcase my dance journey to Hindi audiences as well.”

He further spoke about whether the song gave him an opportunity to experiment beyond his established image in Marathi cinema, saying, “I don’t think about it that way. I just want to entertain my audience, whether they are Marathi or Hindi. I don’t think too much about my image.”

“I simply want to entertain my audience. If there is a song or dance like this, I feel people enjoy it. And when you have a co-actor like Taniya, it is the icing on the cake.”

Pushkar and Taniya teamed up together for the high-voltage and glamorous music video “Haye Re Haye.”
