Mumbai, Aug 9 (IANS) Namrata Shirodkar used social media to pen a special birthday wish for husband Mahesh Babu as he turned a year older on Sunday.

Wishing him a year full of love, happiness, and health, Namrata wrote on her official Instagram handle, “Happy Birthday MB! (Red heart emoji) Thank you for making every day so special. Wishing you the happiest birthday and a year filled with love, good health and endless happiness. We love you so much. (Red heart emojis) (sic)”.

The ‘Vaastav’ actress also shared a happy family picture posing with birthday star Mahesh Babu and their kids – Daughter Sitara and son Gautam.

Their daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni’s wish for her father went, “Happy Birthday, Nanna. (Red heart emoji) Forever my favourite person. Love you always. (Heart Hands emoji)” Sitara uploaded an adorable picture of herself getting a kiss on the head from dad Mahesh Babu.

Commemorating his birthday, the makers of Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated drama ‘Varanasi’ released his first look as Rudhra from the movie.

Mahesh Babu was seen chilling on a bamboo raft in the first look. This was followed by another photo where he was seen standing amidst the wilderness, looking at the vast landscape.

Sharing the first look with the netizens, the makers wrote, “Fierce isn’t his only shade… RUDHRA in #Varanasi. @urstrulyMahesh (sic).”

‘Varanasi’ director SS Rajamouli also shared a heartfelt note saying that Rudra is someone born with a special destiny.

The ‘Baahubali’ maker penned, “Director @ssrajamouli: “ Rudhra was born to fulfil a purpose much larger than himself. He carries a destiny he did not ask for. He is witty, he is vulnerable, and he is fierce. That is what Mahesh brought to him. Anyone can play fierce. Very few can play fierce and fragile in the same breath.”

“These frames are from our Africa schedule, and the land gave us something no set could. Shooting around Kilimanjaro and in the Masai Mara, I was stunned. There were mornings I felt even the 1.43:1 IMAX frame could not hold what was in front of us,” the note further read.
