
Mumbai, July 2 (IANS) Actress Mugdha Godse has opened up about playing a special role in upcoming Marathi film “Frame.”
In an exclusive quote shared with IANS, she revealed that she has a very interesting character to portray in the project. Speaking about the movie, Mugdha said, “I’m a Marathi girl, born and raised in Pune, so the language, culture is in my blood. I was very excited when Ranjeet called me and offered this movie. To work with a talented director like Vikram is what any actor would wish for.”
“Sharing screen with Nagraaj sir and Amay was very exciting. Being on the set of a Marathi film felt like home. This is an experience I’ll always cherish… Looking forward to work in many more Marathi projects,” she added.
ZEE5’s upcoming film “Frame” has received multiple honors at the 59th Maharashtra State Film Awards and was also officially selected for IFFI 2022. The film revolves around two artists and the stories hidden behind their frames. Mugdha plays a unique and interesting character in the project. Her special appearance plays an important role in the overall narrative.
The film is written and directed by Vikram Patwardhan and also stars Amey Wagh.
On the professional front, she made her acting debut with Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2008 film “Fashion.” She has also served as one of the judges on the Marathi reality show “Marathi Paul Padte Pudhe.”
She also appeared in several films, including “All The Best,” “Jail,” “Help,” “Gali Gali Chor Hai,” and “Will You Marry Me?” She later appeared on the reality show ‘Power Couple’ with her boyfriend Rahul Dev.
Rahul Dev and Mugdha Godse have been in a long-term live-in relationship since 2013, although they are not married. After the passing of his wife, Rina Dev, Rahul found companionship with Mugdha. The couple has openly stated that they do not plan to marry, as they already consider themselves fully committed to each other.
The couple often shares moments from their life together on social media. Last year, they completed 12 years of togetherness and celebrated the milestone.
