Mumbai, Sep 1 (IANS) Dangal TV is gearing up for its new original drama, ‘Hamari Bhabhi Number 1’. The family entertainer keeps the woman in the spotlight, whose world is built around their family.
Set against the backdrop of Dwarka, the show talks about the Kapadia family, which is deeply connected to tradition and enjoys the rich legacy of temple heritage. The show revolves around Bansari Kapadia, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Kapadia family, who also happens to be the emotional heartbeat of the house.
She shares the strongest relationship with Lakshya “Laalo” Kapadia (Played by Sahil Balani), who has been raised by Bansari. For him, she is not just his sister-in-law but someone he has always looked up to.
Another important member in the family is Anant Kapadia (Played by Pratham Kanwar), the elder son of the family and heir to a global temple heritage empire. However, the family dynamics are shaken with the arrival of Muskaan (Played by Tanvi Sawant).
Actress Sonal Khilwani shed light on her character Bansari, saying, “One of the biggest reasons I chose Hamari Bhabhi Number 1 was because the concept felt genuinely fresh. We often see stories centred around the newlywed daughter-in-law or the mother, but rarely explore the journey of the elder bhabhi, who quietly carries the emotional weight and responsibilities of the entire household. Bansari is strong, selfless and deeply devoted to her family, especially her devar Laalo, whom she has raised like her own child. I am really looking forward to audiences experiencing her journey.”
Akshat Singhal, Director, Enterr10 TV Network, added, “At Enterr10 TV Network, we are constantly working towards creating shows that are relevant to our markets and are in sync with the pulse of audiences and the themes that are resonating. The idea is to take familiar relationships and present them through fresh perspectives, contemporary conflicts and characters that viewers can identify with.”
‘Hamari Bhabhi Number 1’ airs from Monday to Saturday at 9:30 PM, only on Dangal TV.
