Bengaluru: Several parts of Karnataka are likely to receive moderate rainfall over the next two days, with the coastal districts expected to witness widespread showers, the weather department said.
Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada are likely to receive widespread rainfall on August 21 and 22. Gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are also expected in these districts.
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has also forecast rainfall activity across the three coastal districts.

Apart from coastal Karnataka, several parts of North Interior Karnataka are likely to receive rain accompanied by strong winds. South Interior Karnataka is also expected to witness rainfall during the period.
The weather department has forecast moderate rain in several districts over the next two days. Coastal Karnataka is likely to see rain at many places, accompanied by winds of 30-40 kmph.
Residents in the affected districts have been advised to exercise caution, particularly during periods of strong winds and heavy showers.
