
Mumbai, Sep 7 (IANS) It’s just day one in the controversial reality show “Bigg Boss 20” and the drama has already started to unfold. Contestant Love Gill has given insight into her life to co-housemate Aman Gandhi and has spoken about dealing with body-shaming.
Sharing the experience with Aman, she reflected on how difficult it was to deal with comments about her body while growing up. Aman also revealed that he faced body shaming for being too slim.
Love will be heard saying in the show: “When I was slightly overweight, people would comment on my body. Then I lost weight, but even after that people had something to say.”
“They would tell me I looked too thin or ask me if I ate anything. It felt like no matter what I did, people had an opinion about how I looked.”
Love is a Punjabi actress and model who has worked across music videos, television and films. She was seen in a popular music video by Punjabi singer Karan Aujla in 2019. She then went on to try her hand in TV. She appeared in the Punjabi show Tu Patang Main Dor, where she played Zarina.
She stepped into the world of cinema in Punjab with Kuriyan Jawan Bapu Pareshaan in 2021 and then was seen in movies such as Haterz, Kulche Chole, Gadar 1947: Ikk Vichhoda and Vekhi Ja Chhedi Na.
Talking about Bigg Boss, it is an Indian Hindi-language reality television show of the Bigg Boss franchise in India that airs on Colors TV. It is based on the Dutch format of Big Brother.
The 20th edition started on September 6. It has a diverse lineup of 16 celebrity contestants, including names such as MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Kushal Tanwar, Aman Gandhi, Isha Rikhi, Arishfa Khan, Qazi Touqeer, Asif Khan, Aamrapali Dubey, Rhiti Tiwari, Uditi Singh, Tanmay Singh aka ScoutOP, Rohed Khan, Yung DSA and Love Gill.
The show airs on JioHotstar and Colors TV.
